Buffetting : Multitasking

A junior mentioned that I'm pretty much everywhere in the faculty, doing multiple tasks at once.

But somebody out there might beg to differ when I'm not being able to book a venue for a stupid talk due to my stupid identity as a VC in the cultural club.

Anyway, 1st runner up for my very first sports event of the year. Intercollege squash competition

I had to hit the painkillers to play today, for my first game totally thrashed my lower back on Tuesday, talk about pre-marital make out disorder. Kinda worried since this has persisted for a long time, it some how WILL influence, one way or another of the, well intimate part of my life.

Hopefully tomorrow's test I can score with flying colors.

Speaking of which, I wonder T would do the same; staying up for me while I study till late night 2am like what I did for T.

Well, I'm pretty much a bad boy for making T to suffer; on the other hand there's a call saying "T should totally be with me man!"

Buffetting : Life Goes On

It's weird that when I got elected as the SRC, everyone assumes that I should be different.

But I beg to differ. I still enjoy going to events, collecting merits to stay in the residential college in the subsequent years, and I still do hang out with people.

I do need to devote time for the SRC work, but it doesn't mean I should not have other lives.

I may not be the most outstanding SRC among the board members of 45, but I can still be the one SRC whom people can get close to easily, even more among my faculty members.

The Light Festival in our college was awesome. Great performances, good games( I even won one) and most importantly great people. Everyone was so supportive of each other in the hall when the event proceeded, something which I'm very proud of as a Malaysian.

Had the experience to wear an oversized Jippa and Dothi while taking stunning pictures with my dear sisters donning themselves over glistening trinkets of the Indian heritage.

personally like this the most, cause i look okay in it haha~ and no, Heart and I are really close friends only.

After all, I'm not joining next year anyway. Moving out on the 3rd yr to have more time for myself!

Buffetting : Stay or not?

u better dun be a student representative if u cant even think at students side^^

This was what I've received from a senior SRC when I refuted relentless in the social media group page of a fellow SRC of mine in another faculty. The thing is, he's alone in that faculty with everyone bombarding him, while his fellow SRC ain't doing much.

I was indeed enjoying my bombardment until the whole thing came to a sensitive issue of "image".

Sometimes, maybe I would have been able to go out there by myself without a burden of "image".

With the Dogathon burden coming up next semester, the predecessors suggested I take off from the current SRC position, which I'm considering heavily after the statement up there.

Or should I just stay by the sidelines for now? I hate the "grey" area in life because trying to figure out these areas just sucks.

My guts told me to just watch for now and let the other fac's SRC deal with them before I've promoted him to a even vicious state.

Maybe I should just do that, as focus on my faculty's instead.

Sometimes, being thoughtful can hurt too I guess.

And the thought of, stay or just focus on Dogathon?

Buffetting : Cool down before the Sprint

Finally tests are over while I've completed most of the assignments from the vet fac in hand. So now I have 3 more assignments for the university courses to be completed, one which includes management environment, another on the comparison between the education of special need children and "selected bright children", last but not least, China's agriculture.

At any rate, those ain't my priorities for the time being. My main focus now would be Dogathon.

Seriously, you bitches out there who are within boundaries of Klang Valley, get your arses to my university on 4th of November or I will hunt you down, and send my hounds after you if I need to.


Like seriously! Don't you love dogs?! I mean, like seriously! Seriously.

Anyhow, the design I had before have had to revamped because of the constraints on the film. From a panoramic layout, I've shifted it into a portrait. Let's hope the outcome looks neat.

Seriously....

Classes have been awesome, finally we came to the stage where we need to learn about breast milk! Of cows of course.

More like lactation of a cattle, from its boobs mammary glands, and how to play with the tits stimulate lactation from the teats.

Learning the physiology of the milk production was uber cool, and who knew about the stringent procedures we have to go through in order to ensure good milk production? Not gonna bore you with the details, but seriously it is fascinating.

However, the student body's work isn't getting any better. There's a water crisis in our residential college, while the vet students were like hogging after me asking for a solution. Thank goodness they were nice while asking me, because they love me like that *flick head*

We've came up with solutions for the management of the college, but due to the bureaucratic procedures implemented in most Asian country, its definitely going to take days till the solution can proceed.

Goodness its like sub-zero right now, especially for the girls in the block furthest away from the water source. It might be okay for other courses, but for vets, we have coveralls to be washed, ourselves to clean, boots and also lab coats.

Don't blame us when there's a crazy outbreak of brucellosis or zoonoses in the college, because the water crisis persisted due to incompetent management.

The Supreme Student Council of the college is trying their best, but they should have done better.

Buffetting : Residential College

So one of my seniors was blogging about her ineligibility of retaining her stay in the college.

Our college, namely Kolej(College) 17/K17, is the 17th residential college built under the wings of UPM.

So by standard and years, its the latest and of course the newest around.

Heck it has the best residential set up yet!

I think I did mention before, but this post is dedicated for it.

Divided into 4 blocks from A to D, where guys are situated in the D block, and parts of C.

The others, female.

It's like 75% of the population is infested with girls. Gosh, HUGE difference.

Though some of my friends actually stated that:

"Wow its good! The ratio is 3:1, so you literally have NO competition for girls!"

Ugh, spoken like a true stud, Monkey.

Anyway, back to residential set up.

A block constitutes of 4 levels, and each blocks probably have 4 to 6 different wings.

So practically there's 24 vacant units, I think. Probably more. I'd never really take a good count of the number of units.

Anyway, lets go to the units, that's the best part anyway!

Each unit consists of 4 bed rooms, 1 living room and 1 bathroom with 2 showers and 2 toilets, with 1 of the cubicles combined with both shower and toilet. Hence, 3 cubicles. Oh, lets not forget the "oh-I'd-never-used-it-before" balcony, because I travel back home once every week, so laundries at home~

So 4 bed rooms, each bed room is only shared by 2 occupants only.

No overcrowding in a room.

No common bathroom*gosh that sucks to the max!*

No other races, so outings and food settled.

No other courses, making the vets even more sub-culture than they have been.

I mean, how can you NOT love the residential college?! It's prolly the best in the whole Penisular Malaysia!

So those were the plus points, now the headaches.

You are lucky when the wind hits, and the rain falls. Without it the whole unit is as stuffy as an oven with baked turkey breast in there. Unless you stay closer by the woods, where its more cooling, but more susceptible to BUGS.

 

WEIRD. Googled for HOT and these picture kept on popping. What happened to the literal adjective?

You are lucky you had a hot day, or you will be frozen to icicles, shivering your way in the shower when there's NO HOT WATER. But I think I can live with that. What I can't, is the occasional water shortage for Pete knows reasons. However, the pressure, its orgasmic.

You are lucky when you are pretty much immune to dengue causing mosquito bites. Our college has been labelled as the college with HIGHEST rate of dengue fever. Probably because we are so close to the Serdang Hospital, we are within walks away when we are half dead. So far I was fine from the dengue, but I had a serious case of food poisoning from the famous Old Flat.Should stick to homecook stuffs.
You are lucky if you are able to sneak in pots and electrical cooking appliances to cook for yourself, and heck even to prepare instant cup noodles. The water boiler given was like so low in its AMP, we had to wait for hours to allow it to boil, for 8 humans. The college have strict no cooking or extra voltage costing electrical appliances, but owh well we know our ways out.

You are lucky to get a car sticker to obtain free parking in the college, or you have to prepare for the wrath of the medicine faculty's rocky(literally) parking. I'm making my way in by some application, hopefully everything goes smoothly.

There are matters revolving the college which I have yet to unravel, and due to lack of time (and sleep *yawn*) I shall postpone in to another post.

PS: The merit system governs the number of occupants in the residential. All occupants are required to attain a certain number of merit ie: freshman (>40), sophomore and above(>60) . The more, the better as competition is really harsh. Getting merely 40 may not even secure you a spot. The ways to obtain merits are of different, you can participate in college activities such as drawings, events, heck even spelling bees to obtain merits. University activities such as Festival Activities, Informative Exhibitions or Sports may come with merits. As for faculty, we have Vet Sports, Dogathon and neutering projects which provides merits also.

Honestly speaking, one should be able to attain the merits for continuous residential eligibility. Though some courses are really taxing, students find it hard to attain adequate merits to sustain their rights. Like the one I've mentioned.
