Of Accelarators, Breaks And Clutches 2

Ok peeps, from the title you should know what i went through today again... Yes, driving lesson Part 2 !!!! Today, i hit the circuit again for doing "Bukitting" or literally mountaining. I think this is a must for all Malaysian drivers as it is in the test scope, for foreigners, i have no idea~

What is so tough about driving? It is tough, when you are 6 foot tall and you have to squeeze in a Kancil for a government exam and train for one freaking month. The worse part, your legs are super long and your feet tends to get stuck between the brake pad and accelrator pad... Oh my goodness its like hell in there...

So today it mainly on balancing, as you will need it for the mountaining and turning... so the formula is...:

(A) Once you break pull the hand brake and change to free gear.
(B) Press the clutch to max and change to gear one
(C) Slowly releae the clutch till the whole car start shaking, do not do it too fast or your car will mati-enjin or rather, break down...
(D) Once your car shaking , press the acclerator with the clutch on its released stae and release your hand brake.
(E) Once released, you will move and Tadaa!!!!

That was for moutaining... For turning...

(A) Once you reach teh white line, brake with the steering steered half.
(B) Notice your gear whether it s in one or 2, if 2 change to gear one and pull your hand brake.
(C) Release the clutch till the car shakes and press a little on the accelerator.
(D) Release your handbrake, then release your clutch and accellerator slowly..

And you are done!!! That was the theory, the practical should be a little hard, but i manage to save myself from mati-enjin that much... Confidence!!!!!!!!

Well, my instructor was rather both strict and lineant, but he stressed on the clutch a lot, and that is when i make my mistakes, CLutch, which idiot invented that??????

Ok, today was success, no terror, horror or anything else. Just a little extra sweat on the hand...*wiping hands on the lap* Next lesson on friday, hope I can be better on the road~

PS: Yi Lin said that she doesn't like the pic in previous post, so i will post this one on the Giant and dwarf:
Do whatever I say or its pan cakes for you~

Dream dates for saturday?

Valentines, yes who doesn't know about this? Yet, does anyone really knew the meaning behind the celebration's name? From my frog-gitive knowledge, The Early Medieval acta of either Saint Valentine were excerpted by Bede and briefly expounded in Legenda Aurea.[13] According to that version, St Valentine was persecuted as a Christian and interrogated by Roman Emperor Claudius II in person. Claudius was impressed by Valentine and had a discussion with him, attempting to get him to convert to Roman paganism in order to save his life. Valentine refused and tried to convert Claudius to Christianity instead. Because of this, he was executed. Before his execution, he is reported to have performed a miracle by healing the blind daughter of his jailer. One of the stories sounded like that. So, the element "love" didn't show As obvious as what we have in time. Article off,Wikipedia.

So back to dream dates, seriously, up-to-date I have no idea how a date actually sounds or feels like. Why? Haha... Because I'm in the "least-wanted-date" list on the top ranking, maybe... How does it feel when you walked down the halls in the mall; how does it feel sitting face to face with your date, sipping off the same glass of milkshake; how does it feel when both of you watch a romantic/horror movie(coz these two genre are when guys can take advantge of *grins*). Actually, I think I'm immuned to all these, after ten years of self-discrimination, I do not have the energy nor might left to think of getting a girl friend, let alone getting a date. Sometimes, looking at the couples walking around, I'd choose to enter MPH for a book to communicate with myself. I'd rather walk alone freely in the mall, instead of tagging with another personae which I need to please or follow. I don't know. It must be after the years' affections. I'm destinied to walk alone.

Yet, dream dates are for people out there~

For example, dream dates for guys in my age, some had narrowed down to these:
A>Megan Fox, because of her body?

B>Jessica Alba,because of the butt?

C>Emma Watsons, because of her British slang?PS:put her brother in the most wanted list also....

did you noticed all of them are americans? why couldn't they get some asians?
D>Most of them said hot Japanese chick off the streets of Tokyo, because they are great in bed???????

E>Linda Chung, because she have the innocent-yet-naughty look

Thats what I got from the people I know, well at least some of them... but dream dates for girls? I think there will be a few thousand post for each of them... Maybe girls fantasizes more than guys do during puberty, but after marriage, guys seemed to be wilder... Ugrh~ Human brains are soooo complicated!!!!

Fine, by hook or by crook, i will give 5 of them from my girl friends around...
A>Lee-Yong Dae, because of his cute face and his skills in court

B>Lee-Hom, because of his looks and his talents

C>Mario Maurer, because of his teenage look, plenty of big Jie-jie wants to eat him up.

D>Robbert Pattison, because of his role from Twilight, a great hit among girls.

E>Barrack Obama, because believe it or, some girls thinks that he is cute...

So, who is going to be your dream date this valentine? Have you got any yet? Owh well, I think i'm jus gonna hide in my comfty blanket and snooze my way to lala land(a.k.a. dream land by pn mah wai leng)

Thanks to Nuff Nang

Cinepleasure, where we shared the dream~

Yes, they are the coolest online blogosphere ever! From earning bucks, knowing bloggers to uber events holding, what else isn't there? Ok enough rambling and sorts, the point is to thank Nuff Nang for the premiere tickets to The Punisher 2:Warzone in Cathay Cineplesure last night~ which turns out to be Chap Goh Meh at the same time~

For the damn reason, I really hated myself for not having a driving license by now due to my "must-study-first" theory last year for SPM. So, I couldn't exactly find a person to tag with me as most of them were busy, and a person who can't drive is out of the list.(Pretty jerk for a date huh?) But in the end of the day, thanks to my close friend, or rather one of my ji-mui(slang for close sisters only in Canto, which makes me a girl) Yi Lin, for her mum was superbly kind enough to drop us there before meeting Yi Lin's uncle.

No, she is not my date, just a friend bringing another friend for a movie,i'm definitely out of "the wanted date" list forever, for my babiostic behavior... Anyway, there was pre-screening segment in the cafe "Out-Post". No, scouts its not the one in ss15.This is a cafe for collectors of toys such as Star Wars, Marvels, Air Crafts or arms for the Nuff Nangers to gather and have fun together.
The exterior of Outpost and the Nuff Nang booth
The interior of the cafe

Recognize anyone here? Yes its Robb playing monopoly with his dudes~

There were games held in there, but I was busy looking around as it was the first time for me to step foot in The Curve..(Can you believe that?all the more reason to get driving license ASAP!!!) As Yi Lin practiced her skills as a future flight-attendant, I was fascinated by the surroundings and amount of traffic in the Curve. And yes, I spotted a leng chai again. Sad to say, its hard to spot leng luis as I am 6 feet and I could barely noticed leng luis which most of the time, shorter than me... Imagine that!!! And holy~ The Curve was attached to Ikea, Cineplesure and Ikano at the same time!!! Haha, the typical malay and chinese saying,"a frog under the well" really applies on me now!

Yet, we were didn't miss the game event in Outpost, and I got the chance to witness Huai Bin, from the sixth seal in his splendid gunning skills... Should have taken part in the games, owh well, till the next Nuff Nang event... Did I mention about the S.W.A.T guys? Yeah there were two of them sorta being the guard or something outside by the booth where we claimed our tickets, and I sorta took a picture with one of em~
The S.W.A.T. with attitude~ Though I'm much more taller!
The "to-be-shot" manequines(or some other spellings)

And we went for the movie~ Just when we thought the movie was about to start, the whole scene was cut and the lights were on. I was like, okay, nuff nang got a cinema with technical problem? Actually it turned out to be a gimmick for the movie stating that there was a Frank Castle among us, the audience. I was like, okay... So if the lights were on, he should be around the switch right? Then the S.W.A.T. fellas popped in and said there was a BOMB under our seats... Instantly, almost every audience grabbed beneath their seats for the "Bomb". This is gonna be the 1st tie in history when people actually WANTS to reach the bomb... And there it was, with a girl and there was a so-called squad disintegrating the bomb. Later on, there was also a short sketch where the Punisher appeared and pulled off some stunts witht he S.W.A.T. fellas. And well expected, the squad lost and the Punisher shoved off with pride~ Cool gimmick, but the scene was a little too quiet, a little BGM would help ALOT!!!!!

The movie, I must say it was unexpectingly MARVELOUS!!!! (duuh, its under Marvels studios, of course its marvelous~) I mean, I didn't get to watch its prequel and my though was, I think I got myself into a boring one. Yet, I braced myself and prepared for the movie. And it turned out well, actually too well! From the plot, effects, stunts, and a little comical dialogues, the movie went smoothly and full of packed vigilant. The music used, fits in PERFECTLY. I could feel my body moving as the music pounded in the air.

There was a few scenes really great... Spoilers ahead, so scroll down if you wish
The first was the one where Castle shot the jumping monkey in the air with some bomb and he turned into dust instantly... Funny and bombastic literally
The second one was when Billy theBeaut became Jigsaw, when his face was turned into chunks of chapati after being grinded in the item proccessor.
The third one was during Jigsaw recruiting the Asians, blacks and some undergrounders for the war against Castle, and they were acting patriotic? It was just pure humour!
The fourth one will be when Castle killed the blacks with his bazooka thingy by just inserting the launcher of the gun into the door's hole, and bombed the whole black squad into pieces..
The last one will be the last confrontation of Castle with Jigsaw, when he chose to sacrifice his friend for the other little girl's life. He shot Looney Bin James (LBJ) when Jigsaw killed Micro but he successfully took the advantage over Jigsaw later on.

Ok, 5 spoiler scenes is enough for now~ There were plenty of good quotes in the movie too. "What I recommend, everyone watch the show because, even my friend Yi Lin could stand the gore, why not you? Just get the tickets off any cinemas soon~

PS:In case who of you didn't know Yi Lin, this is a pic for you~

Have you ever?

Have you ever look yourself in the mirror,
Yet you knew deep down it wasn't you in the reflection?
Have you ever lay on the bed staring on the fan spinning,
And wished for another to be by you to warm you?
Have you ever logged into a messenger,
But you have no idea who you can confide in?
Have you ever been confused,
To follow your heart or to please others?
Have you ever tried letting go,
In the end you insisted to hold on?

Have you ever looked outside the windows into the crowd,
And hoped you were no different from them?
Have you ever been lonely,
As if you were naked and powerless?
Have you ever heard the inner voice of the man,
Who stood as firm as a mountain?
Have you ever questioned,
If you were right to choose your path?
Have you ever got hurt,
And never recovered from the scars?

Have you ever been at the same state for ten years,
Then go for a sudden change?
Have you ever thought that,
Ten years can really affect a personae for a life time?
Have you ever walked with a person by your side,
And could never take your eyes of thee?
Have you ever wished thee could bother you forever,
Yet you had never belonged in thee's heart?
Have you ever been so lost,
Till you need to scribble on the virtual walls?

To shed tears with a person is to know how much you had love thee for the first time
....

Of Os, Bs and Abs Zen 6

My eyes widened as if they were about to pop out of the sockets.. Oh my goodness!!!! I press the nurse nudge button as soon as possible. At the same time I tried to hold Suane’s blood from gushing out of the wrist. But it was useless. The blood keep gushing out form her wrist. “Suane!!! Wake up! It’s morning now!! WAKE UPP!!!!!” I shouted as I carried her to the emergency room. Three nurses dressed in pure whitish uniform dashed towards me with a portable patient’s bed and rushed to the nearest emergency ward. I tagged along till the nurses asked me to stay outside the ward, until she was treated.

I punched the concrete wall in the hospital. I can feel the numb sensation in my fist. The drawings hanging right above the spot I punched shook. I punched and punched. How could I had let Suane to take the razor??? I should have been more careful! How did I got the doctor’s license at the first place??? How did I passed the 3 year’s houseman ship??? How???? I continued until a nurse passed by and ask me to stop hurting myself and the wall. I looked at her in fury, till she trembled as she looked into my eyes. She dropped her report plate and stood back. As the plate clacked itself on the ground, I snapped and squatted down to pick up her plate. As I handed it over, I apologized. She nodded and walked away in high speed.

Slowly, I shuffled towards the seats and sat down. I covered my face with my hands. It smelled like iron. It was Suane’s blood, staining my hands right now. If any, ANYTHING had happened to her, I will never forgive myself. I waited patiently, hoping the Japan’s doctors are skillful enough to treat Suane’s razored wrist. AS minutes passed by, the ward’s door opened. I sped towards the doctor and ask for Suane’s condition. She lost too much blood. And the worse part was, her blood is B negative, which the hospital is now in shortage. Without hesitation, I offered my blood. As mine is O, it is universal to any recipients. The doctor asked if I had any disease. My blood boiled and my eyes filled with flames. I pushed him towards the wall and scowled, “I am a doctor. And my friend is dying in there. Do you think I still have time to lie about my blood’s purity????” The doctor slowly pushed my hands, “Fine, you are a doctor. This way,” and led me into the ward for the blood donation.

Obviously the procedure is simple, its just the process which gives me the headache. Constant wait and eyesore of seeing my friend’s suffering. Suane was breathing really weakly. She was planning to give up hee life already. I grasped her hands in my table-plate sized hands. Her hands were much more smaller. They were cold, and the icy sweat were slowly drying off in my warm palms. “Please Suane, do not give up. I beg you, do not ever give up,” I whispered in her ears. She was still lying her, as if she was dead, but still breathing in a very slow pace. Seconds passed as my blood dripped into the tube, and flowing into her body. She was still unconscious. I felt so powerless the first time as a doctor. I wasn’t allow to do anything. Gosh, this really eats me up. Slowly, I passed out.

There was a striking sensation on my eyes, as I could feel someone tapping my head. I widened my eyes even though it was painful and forced my body up. Slowly, Suane’s figure reappeared in my eyes. She was smiling and her face wasn’t as pale as before. “That took you long to realize, Binn,” she mumbled weakly. I shook off her hand on my head and replied, ”Well, if it wasn’t for you, I couldn’t have been so tired could I?” As I lifted up my right wrist to prove m statement. The whole room went silent instantly. “Look Suane, I have no idea what happened, but the least you could do is to tell me any of your problems. I will be by your side to help you out. Can you do that for youself?”

She looked at her hands. She stared at them for a very long time. Before I noticed, Suane put her hands on my right hand, where the drip was inserted. “Binn, it was Sein,” Huh? Sein? What does he have to do with this? “He was drunk. Cystol called me to Kindori to pick him up as he didn’t know which hotel Sein was staying.” “And YOU knew Suane?” I asked. Gosh, what in the world is going on here? “Yes, I bumped into him outside the hospital when you were having your major operation in the theatre. And we talked.” Okay, guess that was my fault there. But I kept quiet and allowed her to continue. “I got him out of Kindori, but I got him out through the back door…” and she started sobbing. “And then?” I asked with a soft voice.

“And then he RAPED me!!!! HE was with alcohol and he raped me right behind those dark alleys!!! He didn’t care, he just did what he wanted!!!!” MY eyes widened like they never did before. Sein, raped Suane…..

Where I Belonged

For a very long period I had long searched, who I am and where do I belonged. As for sports, I finally knew that I am belonged to SQUASH. Many may say, squash isn't as interesting as badminton or basketball, and it is a waste for a person as tall as me to play squash, but in squashing, I had found great friends who give great advices and great support. Okay, this may violate plenty , but it is MY experience. Unlike badminton or basketball, which when I picked up, the people do not give constructive critics, instead they try their best to insult you to the lowest. Okay, fine there ARE some who doesn't practice this, but that was what I went through. After spending 4 long years in squashing, I found out that the people there are much more friendlier, happier and they take stuffs seriously, even when they are hundred times better than you. Yes, the circle of squashers I joined may be girls mostly, but the male squashers were also splendid personas, and they still are. And for these, I choose squash over ANY sports, not even food can take over squash. I am myself during squash. I do not need to pretend. I do not need to be much more better. I just need to be myself. And during squash, is when I can express myself most and have fun to the max. I could share secrets with these magnificent people, and they are very supportive. I do not need to hide a single scratch from them. These are SQUASHERS:

1. Kian Yip, the big brother who brought me into squash.
2. Siti Aminah, a.k.a. Mak Mahyun who brough squash into my life.
3. Soon Min, one of my very mentors.
4. Celine Choo, the princess who ruled the court.
5. Chandni, Rakshan,Raz,Rash,Joyce Sia, Izwan, Grace, Bao Ling,Izreen,Wendy,Suthasheni,Samuel Wong,Rui Zhen(a.k.a. Olivia), Balqis,Foond Shiang, and Ken who brough life during squash.
6. Yanne, who had also grew with me in squash.
7. Tony, Wilson and Elroy who won me my first MSSS GOLD medal and guided me during my squash.(still owe them a lunch though)
8. And one and only Coach Leong~ who had been my teacher for 4 solid years~
9. Puan Loo and Puan Noreena for supporting me as the teacher advisor~

A tradition of excellence

Sometimes... I really do feel the contradiction in myself a lot... I mean I am the one sibling in my house which is eager to practice and know all the family tradition, yet I may be one of them who breaks most of the tradition in the family...

Example 1:
I'm the first PREFECT in the whole family of mine, including cousins from both paternal and maternal side.

Example 2:
I'm the first SCOUT in the my own family, who constantly spend on lots and lots of scouting equipments.

Example 3:
I'm the first member who actually planned and willing to study abroad.

Example 4:
I'm the first member who got flying colours MOST of the time in the academics.(above average only lar)

Example 5:
I'm the first member in family who is crazy enough to join lots and lots of extra co-curiculum and still survive in the first class of my school.

Stupid enough, they aren't exactly the REAL traditions, but I am having the feeling now.. P.L.U. outside there, you understand what I mean. Seeing my cousin who is now pregnant with her second baby, I'm worried sick. I am only 18!!!!! And I'm worrying now..... Gosh, maybe its because of the people around me~ What if I AM what I think I would be? Can I break the tradition and walked out to face the world? What will people think about me? Living in a competitive environment has successfully made me one of the "kiasu" people around who really put their "faces" as the prime factor in life. Thanks to my mum.

Sometimes, I really do wish I could ignore the views and comments of others, but I know I couldn't. I really take others' comments and thoughts on me very hard and seriously. I will bring myself to a corner and think really deeply about someone's complaint or suggestion on for few long hours. This is when my brother keep knocking my bathroom's door as I really love the joy of water from the shower pounding on every inch of my body~ That's life!!! And that is also the only life which I can really think really deeply about my life~ So, how am I suppose to handle this?

Back to tradition, I just had my "Bai Tee Kong" ritual done in 1 o'clock morning, Malaysia time zone. It is a Hokkien's family tradition to pray for this special god as he will nurture our family with luck and properity throughout the lunar year. And of course, as this is a really important ritual, plenty preparations is NECCESARY~

The "kim-chuas"(gold paper) is a must as we will need to burn it and send it to the tee kong so that he can bless our family with fortune so the whole family had to spend the whole night to fold the papers into certain shapes as it brings different meaning.. And I was in the cam-mood so i took down all the pictures~ Up there, my two sisters younger and elder were busy folding them~
And obviously, in every occasions or ritual, there will always be FOOD!!!!! See the roasted pig right in the middle??? It weighs 37 kg!!!!!! Obviously its not only for the whole family... We will chop it off to offer them to our close relatives and friends... And there was also FISH, CRABS,(see the red huge pile? yummy yummy~),EGGS, ANG Ku KUIH, PRAWNS, FOOd and also HOI MEI BOU~ what is Hoie mei bou? Its a dish cooked with all the so-called top seafood containing abalone, sea cucumber, fish ticket(directly translated from chinese) and scallops..
And when there are occasions, there are fun!!! This liittle baby is what we called fire crackers~(like nobody knows) and i guess you know how to play with it lar ok?

But the little baby had also scared my little girl girl over till it was trembling after we had fun.. You should have seen her reaction when the fire crackers flew up and made the "beep~" sound... super hilarious!!!!! But later when I hugged her and found out she was really scared, I broke down because she is like my baby!!! HACHI I LOVE YOU~~~~ I love her eyes, this reminds me of Bolt... funnyness~~~

So, after some fun,we had to get back to work~ My family screwed me again because when they were busy putting up the kim-chua mountain, I was busy taking pictures for my blog~>.<~ Look! GOLD MOUNTAIN!!!! Haha took us half an hour to put them up~ Lets hope my fortune luck can improve more~

Haha, this is a really cool fire crackers!!!! It contains 100 pieces of bombs(so to speak) and once you light it, the crackers fly up in a very orderly manner, forming a peacock-like semi circle formation of bursting starlight... Super cool!!! Thanks to my dad, yet i have to idea where he got these banned stuffs...>.< This is when we started to lit the kim-chua mountain for tee kong hahaha... Ekkonen is so going kill me for doing this.... so most chinese are global-warming contributers~>.<~

And when everything is done, its our time to eat~ look, this is when my dad slaughtering tghe slaughtered roasted pig >.<~ and my younger sis beside assisting him~

This is what we will and may be eating for the rest of the month~ NONSENSE!!!! No la, we will give it to friends and relatives~ Haha, look at the sexy pig~

Wasn't that tiring, but really love chinese occasions as we get to play and eat, yet i also hate it as it makes me fat with all the food!!!! love and hate being chinese~
Obviously, im vain enough to cam-whore and take a picture of myself~ ok i may not look that well ok because Chinese NEw Year made me fAT!!!!! Just give me until march ok????
